Job summary

Apex Service Partners is seeking a motivated Accounts Payable Coder to join our accounting/finance team. You will support the Accounts Payable Manager with accurate invoice entry, GL coding, and vendor relations to build a scalable finance operation.

The role focuses on process improvements, compliance, and collaboration with operations to ensure timely payments in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work option; Denver-area residents preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field is a plus.
• Experience with payment coding and processing.
• Experience with Excel (lookups, pivot tables).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and establish relationships with vendors; submit credit applications as necessary.
• Track credits for warranty returns.
• Process invoices and ensure proper coding per guidelines.
• Coordinate with management to validate invoices and follow up as needed.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and monthly payables statements.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Assist with ad-hoc AP/vendor payment projects.
