Job summary

Seaboard Foods in Merriam, KS is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the accounting team. You will process high-volume PO and non-PO invoices, verify approvals, and ensure timely payment while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years accounts payable or related financial experience.
• At least 1 year of AP invoice automation systems experience.
• Experience working within a large ERP environment.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook with strong data entry and typing skills.
• Experience with Nitro Pro or similar PDF management software is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across departments.

Responsibilities

• Daily responsibility around high-volume PO and non-PO invoice processing.
• Verifying approvals according to approval matrix.
• Matching invoices to manual check payments.
• Handling the organization and digital filing of paper invoices.
• Comply with AP policies.
• Ensures missing information is obtained from vendors in a timely manner to support payment processing.
• Collaborate with other individuals in the company to ensure invoices are complete and accurate.
