Addison Group is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team on a contract basis in Ridley, PA. The role manages the full AP cycle for a high-volume distribution operation, from invoice entry to payment processing, ensuring accuracy and timely vendor payments.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of AP experience, solid Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems. You will collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies and support

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience entering and processing transactions in an ERP or accounting system.
• Experience with three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documents, and vendor invoices.
• Experience with high-volume invoice processing in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage high transaction volume and meet payment deadlines.
• Clear, professional communication with vendors and internal teams.
• Strong problem-solving, organization and time management skills.

Aufgaben

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and on time, including inventory, freight, and operating expenses
• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices
• Research and resolve discrepancies in pricing, quantities, and receiving with purchasing and warehouse teams
• Code invoices to the correct general ledger accounts and enter them into the ERP system
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
• Review and audit freight bills and carrier invoices for accuracy
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve past-due or missing items
• Respond to vendor inquiries promptly and maintain positive vendor relationships
• Maintain vendor master files, including W-9s and payment information
• Assist with month-end close, including accruals and AP aging reports
• Process employee expense reports and corporate card reconciliations as needed
