Job summary

Codman Square Health Center is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage high‑volume vendor invoices within Sage Intacct, ensuring accurate coding and timely payments. This role supports grant tracking, vendor management, and month‑end close in a fast‑paced nonprofit healthcare environment.

You will handle expense reimbursements, vendor record maintenance, and reconciliation tasks, contributing to strong internal controls and grant compliance at our Dorchester campus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2–4 years accounts payable or related accounting experience; healthcare or nonprofit experience preferred.
• Experience with high-volume invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, payment processing, and GL coding; Sage Intacct experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and timely within Sage Intacct.
• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, supporting documentation, and budget compliance.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation when applicable.
• Process weekly check runs, ACH payments, wire transfers, and other electronic payments.
• Maintain vendor records, including W-9 documentation, payment terms, and banking information.
• Review and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor AP aging and communicate proactively regarding outstanding issues.
• Process employee expense reimbursements in accordance with organizational policy.
• Assist in month-end and year-end AP close activities.
• Prepare and maintain accrual schedules for unpaid invoices.
