Job summary

Northeast Kingdom Human Services Inc. in Vermont seeks an Accounts Payable Associate to ensure timely invoice processing, accurate coding to the General Ledger, and strong vendor relations.

You’ll support compliance and financial accuracy in a nonprofit setting. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented with 1–2 years accounting experience, preferably in nonprofit or healthcare, and a high school diploma; associate’s degree and CAPP are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of accounting or related experience required.
• Experience in nonprofit or healthcare environments preferred.
• CAPP certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Invoice processing and coding to the General Ledger.
• Maintain vendor master files and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Process payments via various methods and monitor open invoices.
• Run month-end reporting and assist with year-end close.
• Provide general office support and records management.
