Job summary

Southall LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day AP tasks, code invoices, and maintain vendor records. The role collaborates with Finance leadership to ensure timely payments and accurate documentation.

The position supports broader accounting activities including accruals, GL reviews, and bank reconciliations, with opportunities for process improvement within Craftable, Sage Intacct, Expensify, and other finance systems.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience; hospitality experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and detail orientation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Accounts Payable inbox and respond to vendor and internal AP inquiries.
• Review, code, approve, process, and post invoices through Craftable with proper GL coding and approvals.
• Process weekly check runs and payments (ACH, electronic payments, Bill.com) and ensure Craftable syncs with Sage Intacct.
• Maintain accurate vendor records in Sage Intacct and set up new vendors as needed.
• Assist with month-end close, accruals, reconciliations, and CAPEX review.
