Job summary

Southall Farm and Inn is seeking an Accounts Payable Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day AP functions, including invoice processing, vendor management, payment processing, and month-end close activities. The role collaborates with Finance leadership and departments to ensure accurate coding and timely processing.

The position supports general accounting activities such as accruals, GL review, balance-sheet reconciliations, and CAPEX reviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years accounts payable or accounting experience, hospitality preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills; ability to resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Manage AP inbox and respond to vendor/internal inquiries.
• Process and post invoices with GL coding and approvals.
• Maintain vendor records in Sage Intacct and add new vendors when required.
• Process weekly check runs and other payments (ACH, electronic, Bill.com).
• Prepare weekly cash management and assist with bank reconciliation.
