Job summary

PSC Group in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking an AP Specialist I for a temporary position. The role involves processing invoices, vendor payments, and AP reporting, with a focus on accuracy and timely processing.

The ideal candidate will have experience with NetSuite, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work independently. This position supports accounts payable activities and requires compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to process invoices accurately and timely.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Speak fluent English and have good communication.
• 18+ years old and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Stable work history with good references from past employers.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• PSC is veteran-friendly; prior military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments accurately and on time.
• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and assist in resolving payment discrepancies.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date AP records and documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and AP reporting.
• Provide support to team members and vendors on payment or invoice-related inquiries.
• Complete any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.
