Job summary

J & J Remodeling of GA is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to manage daily financial transactions, vendor and subcontractor payments, expense allocations, and routine payroll processing using QuickBooks and our CRM program.

In this role, you will ensure accurate job costing, timely payments, and collaboration with internal managers and production teams in a growing company. Strong organizational skills and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or job-cost accounting.
• Proficient with QuickBooks (required).
• Experience with CRM programs or job management software (preferred).
• Proficient in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets).
• Detail oriented with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process daily AP, vendor and subcontractor payments and expense allocations.
• Allocate costs to specific jobs for accurate reporting.
• Review subcontractor invoices against purchase orders and collect lien waivers.
• Perform reconciliations of bank and credit card statements in QuickBooks.
• Prepare payroll, print checks, and handle commission distributions.
• Process quarterly payroll taxes and withholdings.
