Job summary

Intermountain Home Services LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage vendor invoicing and payments for residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services.

The role collaborates with purchasing, warehouse, service, and accounting teams to ensure proper coding, approvals, and reconciliation of expenses, while maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting month-end close.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable or accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for various expenses.
• Match invoices to purchase orders, receiving docs, and service expenditures.
• Ensure invoices are coded to correct GL accounts, departments, and job cost.
• Process weekly and monthly payment runs via check, ACH, wire, or vendor portals.
