Job summary

Intermountain Electric Inc. (IME) is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team in a role focused on timely, accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.

You will collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain strong vendor relationships across the Western US. The position requires 3+ years AP experience and strong Excel skills, with office-based work and occasional site visits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in accounts payable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices and related materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies with internal teams and vendors.
• Prepare electronic transfers, checks, and other payments in a timely manner.
• Monitor job costs, subcontractor status, vendor data, and changes with project management.
• Reconcile AP transactions and assist month-end close.
• Maintain up-to-date vendor records and tax documents.
