Capital Pump & Equipment, a Chandler, AZ-based provider of industrial pump rentals and fluid-handling solutions, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. In this role you will manage vendor invoices, ensure accurate processing, and support month-end close in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

You will work with a team that values accuracy, integrity, and strong communication with vendors and internal departments.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of accounts payable or bookkeeping experience.
• High school diploma or GED; a degree in accounting/finance is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work effectively with vendors and internal teams.
• High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, code, and process vendor invoices with proper documentation and approvals.
• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and goods receipts.
• Record and categorize accounts payable transactions in the accounting system.
• Manage vendor payments via checks, ACH, and credit cards.
• Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Maintain vendor records, tax documentation, and payment terms.
• Keep files organized for audits and financial reporting.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close and audits.
• Support 1099 preparation and vendor reporting.
