Job summary

Inspir Senior Living is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate in Westport, CT to handle invoice entry, coding, and payments for multiple communities and projects.

You will verify approvals, maintain vendor records, and collaborate with Office Managers to ensure timely processing. Proficiency in MS Office, Yardi Voyager, and QuickBooks is preferred; an Associate's degree is required with 2–7 years AP experience.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• BA degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred.
• 2-7 years of accounts payable experience required.

Responsibilities

• Enter invoices into accounting system for payment.
• Verify that necessary approval signatures are obtained before data entry.
• Review General Ledger account coding of vendor bills for accuracy.
• Update vendor tables for changes to payment address and missing information.
• Enter vouchers into batches and post to accounting system.
• Coordinate vendor bill approval with Office Managers across communities.
• Assist with research and review of open/paid payables.
• Handle vendor inquiries via email and phone.
