Qualifications

• Two years of accounts payable or related experience.
• Proficient in Excel at a beginner level.
• Flexibility to work overtime.
• Experience with government contracts a plus.

Responsibilities

• Processes and enters payables in compliance with FAR guidelines.
• Communicate with site personnel daily by phone or email identifying and resolving outstanding issues.
• Runs weekly check runs for assigned subsidiary.
• Mail out checks to vendors.
• Research and resolve outstanding checks and credits.
• Respond to inquiries from vendors and personnel.
• Meets deadlines for data entry and closings.
• Checks accounting transactions to locate and resolve discrepancies.
• Operates computer for data entry, word processing and Excel spreadsheets.
• Monitors vendor invoice email box and saves invoices/statements.
• Use tact and diplomacy in communication.
