Job summary

STG Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Anchorage, AK team. You will handle vendor invoices, reconcile statements, manage payments, and maintain organized financial records.

This role supports front-office tasks and requires meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem solving, and strong communication with vendors and internal staff. Work onsite in Anchorage with a typical Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and bookkeeping terminology.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and reconcile statements.
• Manage payments and maintain organized financial records.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Project Management, and other staff for coding and supporting information.
• Prepare weekly AP check runs and related payment documentation.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
