Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. This role involves handling all phases of Accounts Payable, including invoice review, data entry, and weekly check runs, with attention to accuracy and deadlines.

The ideal candidate has at least four years of General Ledger experience in a multi‑company environment, ACCPAC familiarity, and strong Excel/Word skills, plus excellent organizational and customer service abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years General Ledger accounting experience in a multi-company environment.
• ACCPAC experience preferred.
• Excellent calculator and computer skills including email, MS Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize work to meet strict deadlines and execute tasks with great attention to detail, accuracy, speed, and efficiency.
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• All phases of Accounts Payable including review and verification of invoice submissions, daily data entry, weekly check run and ACH payment processing and filing
• Reconciliation of vendor statements and general ledger
• Month-end accrual journal entries and posting to general ledger
• Year-end 1099's
• Special projects as requested by management
