Job summary

Moneta is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support the Accounting Department with accounts payable/receivable duties, partner monthly reporting, and firm expense reporting. Responsibilities include full-cycle AP, weekly payments by check or ACH, and back-up processing of advisory fees and monthly partner distributions.

The role supports month-end close with journal entries, maintains organized records, and ensures deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, some college preferred.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle accounts payable, ensuring timely approval and accurate entry.
• Weekly distribution of payments via check or ACH.
• Back-up processing of advisory fees, including fee billing updates and monthly distributions.
• Process monthly management compensation with accuracy and timeliness.
• Administer corporate credit card transactions and employee expense reimbursements.
• Support month-end close with journal entries as assigned.
• Maintain organized financial records and retention-compliant document filing.
• Complete tasks accurately and within deadlines.
