Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a 6-month contract with a fast-growing technology startup in Los Angeles. You will handle day-to-day AP tasks and ensure timely, accurate payments in a high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of AP experience, strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP), and experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct or Oracle. This role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience with full-cycle AP processing.
• Startup/SaaS/tech/high-growth background preferred.
• Strong ERP experience (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Oracle or similar).
• Proficient in Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely, accurate payments.
• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals and supporting docs.
• Prepare and process ACH, wire, and check payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor records, W-9s, and payment information.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and research issues.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including AP accruals.
• Support expense reporting and credit card reconciliation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to streamline AP workflows.
