Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to build and scale its accounting operations for a rapidly growing AI technology startup.

You will own the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay process, develop policies, manage vendor onboarding, support month-end close, drive automation, and lead a growing AP team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience in startup, hypergrowth, or public company environments.
• Background in technology, SaaS, AI, or other high-growth industries.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, audit compliance, and AP best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.
• Develop and enhance AP policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Manage vendor onboarding, invoice processing, and payment operations.
• Partner with Finance and business leaders to improve purchasing workflows.
• Support month-end close, accruals, reconciliations, and audit requests.
• Drive automation, process improvements, and system optimization initiatives.
• Assist with cash flow management and reporting.
• Build and lead an Accounts Payable team as the organization grows.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process
• Develop and enhance AP policies, procedures, and internal controls
