Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist / Accountant to join our Las Vegas, NV team on a temporary contract. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of AP and/or accounting experience, a working knowledge of ERP and accounting software, and strong Excel skills.

You will handle high-volume AP processing, vendor communications, and support month-end close, ensuring accurate financial data and timely payments in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Accounts Payable and/or Accounting experience required.
• Experience with ERP and accounting software preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume accounts payable invoices accurately and timely.
• Review invoices for proper approval, coding, and supporting documentation.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Assist with account reconciliations and month-end close activities.
• Enter and maintain financial data within the accounting system.
• Support general ledger accounting functions as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative projects as needed.
