Job summary

Impulse Space is seeking an AP Specialist to manage accounts payable with focus on internal controls and efficient vendor management. You will process invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate vendor data in the ERP system.

Responsibilities include month-end accruals, reconciliations, and supporting audits and tax filings. Strong Excel skills and experience with SAP/ERP systems are preferred. Prior aerospace or startup exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years in Accounts Payable.
• Knowledge of Indirect taxes, e.g. Sales Tax.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Preferred: Aerospace or startup experience.
• Strong Excel and Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and payments accurately and timely using ERP.
• Maintain vendor and customer data in ERP.
• Address AP inquiries promptly.
• Create AP policies and vendor maintenance procedures.
• Assist in month-end close and accruals.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations and GL coding.
• Contribute to audit processes and tax filings support.
• Collaborate with third-party tax service provider for quarterly and year-end filings.
