Responsibilities

• Assists and backs up all accounts payable tasks, including invoice receipt, review, coding, and payment processing.
• Performs accurate, timely data entry of invoices and payment details in the accounting system.
• Process vendor payments by preparing and issuing checks in an accurate, timely manner.
• Matches invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation, resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Reconciles processed transactions by verifying accuracy and completeness of entries.
• Analyses expenses to the appropriate general ledger accounts and cost centers based on invoice and expense report review.
• Manages vendor payments, monitors discounts, and schedules payments, resolving discrepancies.
• Reviews and codes invoices to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policy.
• Performs vendor statement reconciliation and resolves variances.
• Maintains accounts payable files and records in compliance with SOX requirements and retention standards.
• Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
