Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data entry and analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with vendors, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance.
• Code and enter invoices into the accounting system with proper costCenter allocation.
• Process vendor payments via check and reconcile payments as needed.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies or issues.
• Assist with year-end audit activities, providing documentation and support.
