Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. seeks an Accounts Payable Clerk to support both retail and manufacturing facilities with vendor creation and maintenance. The role provides essential administrative support to the Corporate AP department.

Responsibilities include reviewing vendor setup, maintaining vendor master files, handling AP inquiries, processing checks and reconciliations, and supporting monthly closings. Strong Excel/Word and discretion are required, with a focus on accuracy and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review new vendor set up paperwork for completeness
• Create and maintain new vendor master files including address changes, EFT payment setup, etc.
• Assist with vendor and divisional AP inquiries
• Prepares accounts payable checks
• Prepare accounts payable reconciliation reports
• Prepares analysis of accounts, as required
• Assists in monthly closings
• Administrative tasks (filing, etc)
• Special projects as needed
