Job summary

Tecta America Commercial Roofing is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Round Rock, Texas. The role handles invoices, validates receipts, and processes check runs, supporting the month-end close with attention to detail and clear communication.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of data entry in finance or construction, familiarity with integrated systems, and a solid grasp of basic accounting alongside strong MS Office skills. This is a non-exempt, full-time onsite position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years data entry experience, preferably in financial or construction services.
• Experience with an integrated computer system.
• Basic understanding of accounting, including accounts payable, receivable and general ledger.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate collection of all purchase card documentation from field personnel.
• Review receipts to ensure field compliance with purchase card policies.
• Reconcile purchases between work order system and credit card system; investigate discrepancies.
• Assign general ledger codes to invoices and allocate to correct division.
• Validate transactions entered into work order system.
• Work with leadership to obtain time approval for hours worked by field personnel.
• File and store statements and receipts in line with auditing process.
• Cross train in Accounts Receivable & Payroll as needed.
• Handle workload fluctuations as assigned.
