Job summary

Cincinnati Metro is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to handle day-to-day finance tasks with focus on processing invoices and paying creditors accurately and timely. You will maintain AP records and provide clerical support within the Finance Department.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of related experience, strong attention to detail, solid accounting knowledge, and good communication skills to respond to vendors and internal managers.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to vendors and internal managers regarding accounts payable processes.
• Process invoices for payment and prepare weekly check runs.
• Monitor vendor statements and reconcile accounts payable records.
• Maintain accurate filing of paid/unpaid invoices and 1099 forms.
