Job summary

Nan-Mckay- in El Cajon, CA is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join the accounting team. Under supervision of the Accounting Manager, you will review invoices, process payments and maintain vendor files.

The role requires accuracy, confidentiality and the ability to work with various databases and software including Concur and Great Plains.

Qualifications

• Hands-on accounts payable experience with vendor invoices and payments.
• Understand AP processes, balancing and reporting basics.
• Proficiency with Concur, Excel, Word and database tools.
• Ability to handle confidential information and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review vendor invoices for accuracy and proper authorization.
• Process AP batches and prepare payments weekly or as due.
• Code transactions to correct G/L accounts and post in system.
• Prepare bank deposits and research payment discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor files and assist with 1099s and tax returns.
