Bill Dodge Auto Group in Westbrook, ME is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. You will process invoices, POs and card transactions daily, reconcile vendor statements, and manage payments via traditional methods, portals, and ACH.

This role emphasizes accuracy and collaboration in a fast-paced automotive environment. We value detail-oriented professionals with general ledger experience; automotive accounting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous accounting or finance experience required.
• Verifiable General Ledger accounting experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, purchase orders and company credit card transactions daily.
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements for accurate and timely payments.
• Process vendor payments via traditional payment methods along with online payment portals and ACH.
• Maintain accounts payable accounting schedules and supporting documentation.
• Review and reconcile accounting schedules for accuracy.
• Perform General Ledger accounting functions, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support management and other team members with accounting-related tasks.
