Cosentino's Food Stores in Overland Park, KS invites applications for an Accounts Payable Clerk. This full-time, on-site role focuses on processing invoices, managing vendor relationships, and supporting month-end close.

You should have basic AP knowledge, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Monday through Friday schedule with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of Accounts Payable principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Experience with data entry and invoice processing.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable records, including vendor statements and payment history.
• Prepare and process payments via various methods, adhering to established payment schedules.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, working closely with vendors and internal departments.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Perform data entry of invoices and other financial documents into the accounting system.
• Provide support for internal and external audits, including gathering and organizing documentation.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment inquiries and issues.
