Acme Barricades is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to manage vendor payments and control expenses by processing invoices and reconciling records. The role collaborates with Corporate Office, Branch Managers, and Vendors to ensure timely payments and accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in accounting or business administration, proficiency in bookkeeping principles, and experience with Peachtree or similar accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Verify approval and input data on invoices and check requests.
• Audit and verify expense reports before payment.
• Code invoices and maintain vendor database.
• Process high-volume vendor invoices weekly and reconcile vendor statements.
• Follow up on rush items and maintain organized files.
