Credit Management Services, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join our Accounting Department in Grand Island, NE. You will process invoices, ensure accurate vendor data, and support our day-to-day AP activities.

The ideal candidate has a keen eye for accuracy, is proficient with Microsoft Excel and Acumatica, and can balance independent work with team collaboration. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or related field; bachelor’s preferred.
• One year of bookkeeping, accounting, accounts payable, or related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent keyboarding and 10-key data entry.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and payments after approvals.
• Match invoices with receiving documents and purchase orders.
• Enter and maintain accounts payable data.
• Work with Excel and Acumatica; Acumatica experience a plus.
• Obtain and maintain vendor tax documentation (W-9).
• Review invoices for correct sales and use tax.
• Maintain organized AP records and documentation.
• Assist with reconciliations for monthly financial reports.
