Job summary

The Franklin Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk in Virginia Beach, VA. The role requires handling the accounts payable process, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and ensuring timely payments.

The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work with limited supervision while contributing to a collaborative team. Preferred experience includes 2–5 years of full cycle AP and proficiency with Nexus Payables and Excel.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years hands-on, day-to-day full cycle accounts payable
• 2 years in the property management industry is preferred
• Strong Excel skills; Nexus Payables experience a plus
• Aptitude to quickly learn new systems and processes

Responsibilities

• Contact with Community Managers and Vendors regarding payables
• Answer Vendor inquiries through ZenDesk
• Set up special vendors in operational software
• Complete Credit Applications when applicable
• Process weekly check runs and input invoices
