Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience in construction or service industries preferred.
• Knowledge of construction billing concepts, including lien waivers, retention, and progress billing.
• Familiarity with Business Central (BC) purchasing/approval processes.
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, sorting, filtering, pivots, VLOOKUP) and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Enter invoices into ERP systems with accurate coding and company allocation.
• Process high-volume vendor invoices using three-way matching with POs and receiving docs.
• Set up new vendors and maintain vendor records in the system.
• Coordinate weekly payments: obtain approvals, create payment batches, print/send checks.
• Resolve discrepancies by collaborating with Procurement and other departments.
• Obtain lien waivers, milestone docs, retention, and progress billing as required.
• Handle vendor inquiries and reconcile statements; maintain vendor relationships.
• Organize and upload documentation to the company server.
• Assist in preparing and issuing 1099 forms and support IRS requirements.
• Support audit processes by gathering required documentation.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
