Flaherty & Collins Properties is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist at our Indianapolis, IN corporate office. You will manage AP transactions, verify invoices, and assist with month-end close in a collaborative, results-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting/finance or related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions accurately and timely.
• Review, verify, and reconcile invoices and expense reports.
• Maintain records and documentation for audits and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth payment processes.
• Assist in month-end closing activities by preparing reports and reconciling accounts.
• Monitor and enforce company policies and procedures related to accounts payable.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
• Respond promptly to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payments and account status.
