Stivers Staffing Services in Beachwood, Ohio is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing Finance & Accounting team. This full-time, direct-hire role focuses on accurate processing of invoices and payments, maintaining records, and supporting month-end activities.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years AP experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel and accounting software. Onsite schedule is Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in accounting/finance/business preferred.
• 3+ years accounts payable or related accounting experience.
• Experience in a high-volume environment.
• Proficient with accounting software and Excel.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsabilités

• Review and enter invoices, garnishments, commissions, and AP activity.
• Process ACH, wire, tax payments, and other payment transactions on time.
• Reconcile bank and credit card transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain payment records, tracking reports, and supporting documents.
• Assist with audits and year-end activities.
