FirstCall Mechanical is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist in Boston, MA to manage invoices, coding, and payments in a timely manner. You will work with vendors and internal teams to ensure accuracy and smooth AP processes.

The role requires 3+ years in accounts payable and an associate degree, with strong Excel and accounting software proficiency, and excellent attention to detail. We offer comprehensive benefits and competitive weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3+ years in accounting.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring correct coding and approval.
• Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding issues.
• Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Process weekly check runs and electronic payments.
• Manage processing and coding of all credit card charges.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files.
• Respond promptly and professionally to all vendor inquiries.
• Assist with month-end closing as necessary.
• Cash applications.
• Performs additional duties and provides support as needed to ensure smooth and efficient accounts payable operations.
