• Match receiving documents to invoices and enter transactions into the accounting system.
• Review and process P-card transactions, ensuring proper accounting classification.
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end accounting activities.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Management to resolve vendor and payment-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely and accurate payment of obligations.
• Maintain and review accounts payable records and subsidiary ledgers.
• Verify invoices, purchase orders, receiving documents, and related records for accuracy and proper coding.
• Investigate, reconcile, and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Match receiving documents to invoices and enter transactions into the accounting system.
• Review and process P-card transactions, ensuring proper accounting classification.
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end accounting activities.
• Assist with preparation and review of financial records and reports.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Management to resolve vendor and payment-related issues.
• Support sales tax, payroll tax, and other compliance-related accounting activities as needed.
• Assist with collections activities and customer account follow-up when required.
• Learn and support company purchasing policies, payment methods, and financial procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and files in accordance with company policies.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Experience

• 5+ years of accounts payable, accounting clerk, bookkeeping, or related accounting experience preferred.
• Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements
