Job summary

Boly-Welch Inc is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its accounting team in a fast-paced, on-site role in the Tualatin-Sherwood area. You will manage the full AP process, ensuring timely, accurate payments and strong vendor relationships.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of AP experience, proficiency in SAP/Oracle/NetSuite, and familiarity with construction software such as Viewpoint Spectrum. An associate degree in accounting is preferred, with benefits included for contracted staff.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred.
• Construction industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounts payable process from invoicing to payment.
• Enter, validate, code, and post invoices with proper approvals.
• Process payments through multiple methods and maintain records.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve payment issues.
• Serve as a primary contact for vendors and maintain strong relationships.
• Support procure-to-pay activities and travel/expense reimbursements.

A well-established and growing organization is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its accounting team and play a key role in ensuring timely, accurate vendor payments and financial transactions.

As Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll manage the full accounts payable process, including entering, validating, coding, and posting invoices while ensuring compliance with approval workflows and payment terms. You’ll process payments through a variety of methods, maintain accurate records, and monitor invoice activity to support efficient financial operations. Working closely with internal teams, you’ll investigate discrepancies, resolve payment issues, and ensure invoices are matched and processed correctly.

You’ll also serve as an important point of contact for vendors, responding to inquiries, resolving disputes, and fostering positive business relationships. In addition, you’ll help support procure-to-pay activities, assist with travel and expense reimbursements, prepare reports and communications as needed, and contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and service levels.
