LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a well-known construction group in Sugar Land, TX to hire a contract Accounts Payable Specialist for 6 months on a hybrid schedule. The opportunity is paying $24-$26 per hour, depending on experience. The Accounts Payable specialist will be responsible applying PO's to invoices, processing 1099's, and working with vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle AP process: invoice processing, payments, and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with IRS regulations by preparing and filing 1099 forms.
Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications:

Proven AP experience, including 1099 processing and vendor management.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
