Job summary

Wallaby Search & Placement is seeking an experienced and driven AP Specialist to join Detritus' rapidly growing team. In this role, you will manage the company's provider cards and ensure all invoices are paid in a timely manner.

• Manage the Accounts Payable Dashboard on Salesforce, including accounting reports.
• Process accounts payable invoices.
• Make provider payments promptly.
• Provide support for audits.
• Collaborate with other departments on accounting issues.
• Prepare expense reports.
• Assist Accounts Receivable as needed.

Wallaby Search & Placement is seeking an experienced and driven AP Specialist to join Detritus' rapidly growing team. In this role, you will manage the company's provider cards and ensure all invoices are paid in a timely manner.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for receiving and preparing accounts payable invoices, handling expense reports, and assisting with internal audits. The ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented, computer savvy, and has a strong understanding of accounting, payments, and budgets.

You Will

• Prepare, load, and record credit cards
• Maintain accurate general ledger journal entries
• Manage the Accounts Payable Dashboard on Salesforce, including several accounting reports

• Provide support for audits

• Assist with the Accounts Receivable team as required
• Other accounting duties as required

You Have

• 0-2+ years of related Accounts Payable experience, preferably with rental invoicing
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (relevant experience may substitute for education)
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and accounting software
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for pricing and negotiation
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-volume, and frequently changing accounting environment
