Join Our Team as an Accounts Payable Specialist at Digital Room

We are hiring for the position of Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a remote, full-time role based in the Los Angeles area, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Compensation: The pay range is $21.50/hr - $25.00/hr, depending on skills and experience. Actual pay will be discussed with your recruiter.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of invoices and expenses, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.
• Prioritize invoices based on payment terms and potential discounts.
• Manage weekly check runs, electronic payments, and manual checks as needed.
• Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with tax requirements.
• Reconcile reports and vendor statements, investigating notable discrepancies.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate data coding and workflow.
• Implement process improvements through software and automation.
• Assist with month-end, year-end closing, and audits.
• Perform cross-training and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with proactive problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a midsized business environment, preferably in manufacturing or retail.
• Strong understanding of AP processes and accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred; equivalent experience (3-5 years) in a high-volume AP role will be considered.
