As a new Accounts Payable Specialist at Sentrillion, you can expect a dynamic work environment, operating Monday through Friday with a 40-hour workweek. Your daily responsibilities will include managing invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will review and verify invoices for accuracy, ensuring compliance with internal policies and federal regulations.

Each day will involve collaboration with various departments to resolve discrepancies and support vendor inquiries. Additionally, you'll participate in monthly reconciliations and assist in preparing financial reports. Communication is key in this role, as you will interact with team members and external vendors regularly.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business finance or accounting; or four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience as a substitute.


• A minimum of three years of experience with cost estimation and providing proposal support preferably in support of a U.S. federal contractor.


• Knowledge of U.S. federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and Agency Specific regulations (DFARS) and laws governing government contracts with a specific focus on the application of travel cost principles and labor wage determinations. Knowledge of public procurement strategy and procedures.
