Now Hiring: Onsite Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist

Are you a seasoned Accounts Payable professional looking for a stable, long-term opportunity in the construction industry? We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable AP Specialist to join our team onsite in Lorton, VA.

This role is perfect for someone with a strong AP background who can hit the ground running, manage high-volume invoices, and support key financial functions in a fast-paced office environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Manage $1–2 million/month in AP transactions
Handle AIA billing and lien releases
Support general office accounting functions
Utilize Construction Partners software for AP processing
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate payments

What We’re Looking For:

Must-Haves:

5+ years of AP experience (10+ preferred)
Strong, steady work history in AP
Prior exposure to construction accounting is highly preferred
Familiarity with AIA billing and lien release workflows
Self-sufficient and organized — can work with minimal training

Nice to Have:

Experience in the construction industry (commercial or residential)
Proficiency with Construction Partners or similar accounting software
