KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist for our Knoxville, TN team. You will handle high-volume AP, process invoices, maintain vendor records, and support project accounting on-site. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for this role.

This full-time, on-site position offers growth within construction accounting and a collaborative work environment in Knoxville.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Construction accounting experience preferred.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred; equivalent AP experience will also be considered.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Issue and process purchase orders in a timely manner.
• Process invoices in a timely manner.
• Resolve discrepancies and communicate with vendors and Project Managers.
• Maintain vendor records in COINS ERP.
• Ensure expense reports are completed on time.
• Help with annual and monthly closing and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist AP Manager and Controller, as assigned.
• Assist with answering phones while the receptionist is on lunch or PTO.

We're looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role will process invoices, maintain vendor records, and support project accounting. Ideal candidates will have experience in high-volume AP, strong organizational skills, and detail oriented.

This position is full-time, on-site position in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm
