KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing in Knoxville, TN is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our on-site team. You will process invoices, maintain vendor records, and support project accounting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of AP experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. Construction accounting is a plus. This full-time role offers benefits and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Construction accounting experience preferred.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred; equivalent AP experience will be considered.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Issue and process purchase orders in a timely manner.
• Process invoices in a timely manner.
• Resolve discrepancies and communicate with vendors and Project Managers.
• Maintain vendor records in COINS ERP.
• Ensure expense reports are completed on time.
• Help with annual and monthly closing and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with answering phones when receptionist is unavailable.
• Assist AP Manager and Controller as assigned.

Monday – Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm

Your Tasks

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
