Job summary

Addison Group in Irvine, CA is seeking two detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialists to join a growing accounting team. You will support domestic and international accounts payable operations, processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, and ensuring timely payments on-site.

The ideal candidates have at least five years of accounts payable experience in an electronic processing environment, experience with international vendors and the procure-to-pay process, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• At least five years of accounts payable experience in an electronic processing environment.
• Experience with international vendors and international AP transactions.
• Strong understanding of the procure-to-pay process and three-way matching.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with data analysis capabilities.
• Experience with an ERP system; Sage Intacct is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding, allocation, and timely processing.
• Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documentation.
• Manage assigned vendor accounts, including reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Communicate with international vendors and internal teams regarding purchase orders, invoice disputes, and payment inquiries.
• Assist with vendor onboarding and the collection and verification of banking information.
• Support weekly payment processing and escalations as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure vendor accounts are reconciled and up to date.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze data, reconcile accounts, and support reporting activities.
• Assist with special projects and other accounts payable duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience processing a high volume of invoices while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to resolve vendor inquiries professionally.
• Experience with an ERP or accounting system; Sage Intacct experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with foreign currencies, international banking terminology, and vendor banking requirements is a plus.
