Nidec is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to handle invoice processing, payment preparation, reconciliations, and vendor management in a structured environment. You will ensure accurate records and timely payments in line with terms, while supporting audits and compliance.

The role requires 1+ years in accounts payable, proficiency in Excel and accounting software, and strong organizational skills. This position is based in Illinois and operates in a standard first-shift schedule.

Responsabilités

Invoice Processing: Receive and review vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving reports to ensure proper documentation.
Payment Preparation: Prepare and process payments to vendors, including electronic transfers, checks, and ACH transactions.
Verify payment amounts and ensure timely disbursement in accordance with payment terms.
Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable sub-ledger to the general ledger.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to vendor accounts.
Vendor Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records.
Address and resolve vendor inquiries, discrepancies, and payment issues in a professional manner.
Expense Reporting: Review and process employee expense reports.
Ensure expenses are in compliance with company policies and are properly documented.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of invoices, payments, and related documentation.
Ensure all records are properly filed and easily accessible for audit purposes.
Compliance: Adhere to company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
Data Entry: Accurately enter invoice and payment data into accounting software or ERP systems.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial reporting.
