You will perform three-way matching, vendor management, and assist with month-end close in a fast-paced environment within the oil and gas sector.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Experience in high-volume AP environment.
• Oil and gas, energy, or industrial industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation
• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receipts
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
• Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries
• Prepare weekly payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable balances
• Assist with month-end close, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
• Partner with internal departments to resolve outstanding AP items
