Job summary

Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas (MANA) seeks an Account Assistant/Payable in Fayetteville, AR to support day-to-day accounting functions. The role involves processing vendor payments, coding invoices, reconciling banks, and preparing journal entries under the supervision of the Accounting Supervisor.

The ideal candidate has broad knowledge across accounting and related fields, with a four-year degree, and the ability to manage monthly reports and year-end analyses.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of accounting, marketing, business administration, finance.
• Equivalent to a four year college degree.

Responsibilities

• Ensure payments to vendors are made on a timely basis per contract or PO terms.
• Code invoices accurately.
• Coordinate routine activities with Purchasing.
• Prepare monthly production schedules for assigned companies.
• Prepare and allocate monthly administrative expenses.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and post journal entries.
• Research and prepare monthly external accounts receivable invoices.
• Update monthly reports for physicians.
• Willing to learn new responsibilities and work under moderate stress.
• Work closely with Accounting Supervisor.
• Perform related duties as required.
