Harrison, Walker and Harper in Paris, TX invites an Accounting Representative to join a team focused on accurate invoicing, AP processing, and daily financial tasks.

You will receive invoices, match to POs, prepare AP reports, reconcile with vendor statements, and handle payments. A High School Diploma or GED with 1–3 years’ experience is required; Associates degree preferred, and MS Office proficiency is expected. Starting pay rate is $21–$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 1-3 years related experience.
• Associates Degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Receives invoices for payment and matches invoices to existing POs and receiving documents.
• Review invoices weekly and select invoices for payment according to established terms or management direction.
• Prepares accounts payable reports and maintains accounts payable files.
• Reconciles accounts payable to vendor statements.
• Contacts vendors regarding payment discrepancies or invoices not submitted to accounting for payment.
• Contacts operations and management to obtain additional information necessary to process invoices timely.
• Responsible for entering, adjusting and remitting all recurring payments such as monthly note payments.
• Ensures all monthly invoices received are entered and accounts payable is closed timely.
• Applies credit memos to AR invoices.
• Responsible for monthly invoicing and reporting.
• Responsible for Collections – Calls and internal reminders.
• Processes credit card payments and credits.
• Makes adjustments to accounts as needed.
• Prepares weekly reports for controllers.
